Ticonata Island

The particularity of this tiny island of 5 km² stands in the present archaeological ruins. Rests of mummies have been found  and are now exposed in an Archaeological and Cultural Interpretation Museum. On the other side, beaches open on crystalline waters are very beautiful and the walk around the island is charming. Traditions are still very important for the living population and it can be seen on the bright colors of their clothes, and also in their traditional cultures.
